The separate pastry was great. No soggy bottoms. Chunky meat pieces with zero gristle. Very tasty meat and the pastry was crispy and perfect.
Will be back for more.

I normally order elsewhere for my New Year's steak pie but they couldn't accommodate this year so made decision to buy from The Smiddy. Beat decision ever..amazing steak pie only one critical thing..needs more gravy and a little less meat. But tasted amazing !! I won't be going back to my previous supplier I am sticking with The Smiddy ! One happy girl !! ;-)
