Good honest locally produced food.
We wanted to champion the best produce Scotland has to offer, sourcing local food where we can, or because it tastes great! A unique place to visit, shop for essentials and treats or enjoy something delicious to eat in comfortable surroundings.
We have assembled a team packed full of experience and enthusiasm to bring this all to life.
Daisy and her uncle, Jamie, have worked tirelessly to bring all of this to fruition and are both long-term devotees of delicious, locally grown, food.
Linda manages the Smiddy shop and is always on the look-out for delicious and interesting food and drink, with a fantastic eye for homeware and gifts. She keeps the whole operation ticking over as it should, to very high standards.Shop

We take our name from the old iron works or ‘smiddy’ that once served the local area for generations. We wanted to breathe life back into the old place and serve the community once again as a place for locals, visitors and foodies to enjoy.
We are 10 minutes from Stirling on the A873, just off the A84, close to Blair Drummond Safari Park.
